We continue the series of announcements in which you can get to know our employees better. This time we had a chat with our colleague Lumturie from the Polog Branch in Tetovo.

When and how did your story at FULM start?

I started working for FULM in 2014. At first, I faced challenges regarding language. I knew Macedonian, but when I had to work with documents written in this language, it was a real challenge. Luckily, however, I had a very good “welcome” from the then head of the Branch in Tetovo who encouraged and supported me in every difficulty I faced. Honestly, because of that support, I did not give up and I have stayed to work for FULM to this day.

What is the most important benefit or skill you acquired while working at FULM?

The best thing about working at FULM is gaining the skills of a team player. Over the years I have learned what it means to be part of a winning team and that only TOGETHER CAN WE DO MORE.

What is the most interesting part of working in FULM?

Most of the time that I spend working is interesting because every day I have contacts with our members with whom we have built trust and are very close. And when you work with people every day and they want to tell you their stories, you can always hear something new, interesting or learn something more from their various experiences.

How do you cope on your own with the daily management of the branch in Tetovo?

I think the biggest advantage is that people have already started to trust me and have tolerance and understanding. To gain that trust, I try to serve them as best I can on a daily basis. I try to put all my troubles under the rug, because the clients should feel comfortable when they come to our branches. I want them to feel at home and feel that I am at their disposal for anything that they need.

How do you cope with the Coronavirus pandemic?

I follow the protection measures against the Coronaviruson on a daily basis. When I am in contact with our members, I always wear a mask and gloves. I disinfect regularly in the branch and always make sure that there is no more than one member present in the branch. It is a challenge to work under these conditions, but at the moment it is the only way to protect ourselves and our loved ones. I hope that  we will start living normally very soon.

What’s your hobby?

I have always enjoyed growing flowers. Every spring I buy flowers for my home and grow them all year round. Flowers give me positive energy. Apart from growing flowers, I also enjoy cooking. When I’m free, I enjoy spending time cooking

And finally, what is your favorite flower?

Orchids 😊
