Thanks to FULM Savings House, one of my long-time wishes came true, by approving me a loan of 500 Euros, which I now repay over a longer period of time with a lower installment that I, as a pensioner, can afford with my pension.
I was born into a working-class family, with a brother and two sisters, and thus I didn’t have enough money to buy beautiful clothes, but I had the desire and knowledge to tailor and sew something myself, for which I used an old manual sewing machine that we had at home. However, time has flown in a different direction and this stayed in the past until recently, when I read somewhere that a company is looking for seamstresses who would sew teddy bears, cushions and the like with their material. I was interested and because I am a pensioner with a lot of free time, I thought I should apply, but the only thing I was missing was a sewing machine. I solved this problem with the help of FULM Savings House; they approved my loan and simultaneously fulfilled my long-time wish.
Now I have a sewing machine, I can sew many things and with my modest income to dress nicely and simultaneously earn some extra money from sewing teddy bears. Moreover, I could afford a small vacation, go to a spa and most importantly to visit my sister in Germany. I could never have afforded all this with just my pension. I feel useful and accomplished at the same time.
