FULM Savings House together with the Global Network of Women Leaders aims to encourage women to make significant differences in their lives, in the lives of their credit union members and their community, by providing opportunities and resources for it.
One of those women leaders who make significant differences in their environment is Silvana Vasileva from the village of Borievo, Strumica region. In November 2018, she founded the store VERVAS – PROMET, where food and consumer products can be purchased. The store is fully managed by Silvana.
During the Coronavirus crisis, there were no major decreases in store sales due to the daily need for food products. However, due to the emergency situation, additional protection measures have been introduced, such as keeping a distance between customers, wearing a mask in the store and maintaining regular hand hygiene in the store.
In 2018, Silvana received a loan from FULM Savings House to start her business. She told us the story of how a woman struggles in taking risks to start her own business. Of course, we rewarded her START – AP business idea with LAP TOP. Congratulations Silvana!
